WhatsApp Users Will Soon Able To Edit Messages They Sent By Mistake

WhatsApp Update: WhatsApp keeps working on many new features every day. The platform is leaving no stone unturned to differentiate itself. Now the messaging app is coming up with a new feature, which will make it easier for users to edit and save contacts. The platform has not rolled out this feature for all users. The feature is currently available only for some beta users. Actually, testing of the feature is being done. This feature will make things very easy for those users, who currently have to go to the phone’s contacts app several times to add or edit contacts.

Apart from this, the company is working on another new feature, which some people may like a lot and some may dislike. Let’s know what is this new feature?

Can edit message

According to Wabetainfo, a website that monitors WhatsApp activity, WhatsApp developers are working on a new feature that will allow users to edit messages. Reports have revealed that the app is now working on bringing the ability to edit sent messages if there is a mistake.

Message can be edited only in this time

The report further states that the new edit message feature will allow users to edit any sent message within a time limit. This time limit will be of 15 minutes. This will allow users to edit any mistakes in the message or include information they remembered later in the original message. Till now WhatsApp gives the option of “Delete For Everyone” to remove the message sent by mistake. With this feature, the message sent by mistake gets deleted from both the sender and the receiver. However, this new feature is a step ahead of the “Delete For Everyone” feature. The new feature will come in handy when someone does not want to delete the entire message, but only wants to edit some words.
